HP 2000-2b16NR Review

In all my years I have had to deal with a lot of different PCs from different manufacturers. As of yet, I haven’t found a laptop from HP that disappointed me. HP seems to be a pretty damn good manufacturer as they provide you with quality goods and excellent service. Even in the eventuality of your computer breaking, you can still fix it in a matter of hours as the extra components are cheap and easy to replace. However, extremely rare is the case in which these laptops break down. They are ridiculously reliable, but don’t take my word for granted and buy one for yourself and see. You will be most satisfied with the results.
The hardware isn’t really much to look at, but the laptop in itself is. What it lacks in strength it makes up for in beauty. Some would argue that beauty in a laptop isn’t really important, but I tend to disagree as you will be spending a lot of time looking at the laptop ( at least a couple of years ), therefore you will most likely like something that also looks good.

Who is it for? discussing who would benefit most from this laptop...

  • Student
If you're looking for a student laptop with not a lot of hardware strength and at a decent price, then this is the answer for you. This particular laptop has a decent processor and 4 GB of RAM which will more then come in use if you want to use all sorts of programs and stuff like that.

  • Casual User
If you're looking for a great laptop for a casual user for a relatively low price, then this laptop will most certainly do the trick. Its 500 GB hard drive is especially great as it can hold literally tons of files and content without even breaking a sweat.

  • Business User
If you're a business user, this laptop CAN be good for you, as long as you do not really require a whole lot of performance in your line of work. If you DO require great amounts of strength, however, this laptop just won't do. Its 4 GB of RAM can handle a bit of multitasking, but if you need a lot of multitasking, it may just snap under the pressure, so to speak.

  • Power User
There is no need to say that this laptop isn't any good for a power user. Sure, it can handle multitasking to a certain degree, but not to the extent that a power user wants. I strongly recommend something at least 500 dollars more expensive than this.

  • Gaming
If you want a good laptop for gaming, then look somewhere else. This laptop is good for many tasks, but gaming is not one of them. I strongly recommend purchasing a professional gaming rig instead of this laptop.

PROs Vs. CONs

A really great aspect about this laptop which makes it good for casual users and people with not a lot of tech savvy is the fact that it has a preinstalled Windows 8 ( which will take some getting used to ) and a few programs already on it. That way, it's easier to use and it won't take you hours to set up. Also, the fact that this laptop is also a delight to look at is yet another interesting aspect, as far as I see it.

No real disadvantages exist for this laptop, not besides the ones already implied by its price, anyway. Perhaps the only bothersome thing is the lack of Bluetooth, but few 400 dollar laptops have that feature.

Summary

In conclusion, this laptop is pretty darn good for a small group of people, but it isn't as efficient if you want to use it for absolutely ALL purposes. However, if you're a casual user, a student or even a business-user that doesn't need a lot of performance, then this laptop is just the thing you need ( especially at this fabulous price ).
